Originally released in 1985,as this 2-CD/41 song collection by the Dutch progressive space rockers might be tough to come by.Like many of the other Legendary Pink Dot's CD's available,'Chemical...' is sure to take your mind into an altered state(if you allow it to do so).If you ever get the chance to check these guys out at a live setting,I highly encourage you to do so.I SWEAR,it's like witnessing Syd Barrett in the 21st century.Too many cool tracks to list here,so I'll just mention a few that happen to stand out in my mind,like "Defeated","Dying For The Emperor",the no less than awesome "Apocalypse Then","Red Castles" and "Hanging Garden"(hmm,wonder what they're refering to here).Hint,hint!What do you grow that you'll maybe NEED to hang from the ceiling?Think about it.Simply state-of-the-art neo-psychedelia to be fully experienced here.Recommended.

I was already very into LPD before I heard this album, but this is the one that made me realise just how amzing and beautiful they are.The first disc is completely perfect, I have had hideous Strength stuck in my head for years now. This album has made several of my friends forget to talk for hours.I spent a large portion of my life tripping and listening to LPD after I bought this one. If you have never heard them before, buy this cd and you'll spend years searching for more. If your already a fan, and you haven't got this one,then there's something wrong with you.
