Review

Review written by R. Darby, Texas A&M University

...The book is written in simple language that should be intelligible to laypersons. Recommended for general reference use by anyone looking for a brief synopsis of the reactions and process steps in the production of various chemicals. 1.0 out of 5 stars Highly Disappointed, October 1, 2002

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chemical Process and Design Handbook (Hardcover)
The information at the back cover is very misleading.
The content of the book has nothing to do with Design or Process Engineering. It is basically an accumulation of various Organic reaction equations, with some very simple flow charts.
That's how the book starts, and also how it ends.
Indeed among Dozens of Engineering books that I have purchased, this one is definitelly the only useless one.
So please do not waste your time or burn your money.

With all of the speeding tickets and like I get, the last thing I need on my shelf is something that says how to process cocaine.
