Good text, but missing OWL
While the textbook is good in and of itself, it does not come with the OWL subscription I wager all chem courses use. I was disappointed since the copy sold at my school did come with it. Just something to be aware of if you plan on buying.

Get the Older Edition!
For its content, this book is definitely too expensive. Some materials have been moved from one chapter to another and this is the difference between the 6th and 7th edition. Otherwise, the text is the same and college-level chemistry has certainly not changed from the date of the first edition of this book. Don't waste your money, just get the older edition. Studying...

Studying the 7th edition instead of the 6th would not make any difference. This is a book just about basic Chemistry and not a primary scientific journal.
