A real grade-saver,

This review is from: Chemistry: Study Guide (Paperback)
I bought this study guide for my daughter who is taking high school AP Chemistry using the associated text book. She was having difficulties understanding both the teacher and the text book, and had failed a test. When she received the study guide, she spent about a week going through the exercises and explanations for the first 7 chapters of the text book, and improved her understanding so much that she scored a "B" on the next test. Since then she has consistently scored "A"s on all subsequent tests by reviewing the concepts in the study guide and working the examples before doing her assigned homework, then working the quizzes in the study guide the night before her tests. The study guide is well-written, in many cases it defines concepts better than the text book, and presents the material with workable problems so that students learn the concepts in a more hands-on manner. It is worth every penny of the price.

I'm currently an AP Chemistry student at my high school, and this provides enough examples to teach me what's going on in the class, I feel like I could succeed just by reviewing this in combination with the textbook
