Each section of the mouse brain is shown in color stained for acetylcholinesterase, tyrosine hydroxylase, calretinin, calbindin, and 5-hydroxytryptamine. The Nissl stain, thionin, was also used. The structures in each brain section are labelled on each page. Brain sections from gestational ages E11/E12, E13/14, E15/16, E17/18 and the newborn are shown.
