In the Operación Triunfo Show in Spain I was one of the logical thinkers that wanted this wonderful lady to win it. Sadly, justice was not done, but, Hey, neither Orson Welles, nor Charlie Chaplin, nor Alfred Hitchcock won an Oscar, the same happened with the Beatles and the Grammys. Her performances were riveting, fun and displayed the stage mastery you can only find in Freddie Mercury, Liza Minelli, Tina Turner or Bruce Springsteen. I love the record except for Chicas Solas (Girls Night Out), too much bubble gum. It is Chenoa,not all of her, but she can make any song sound like a masterpiece. I really enjoy listening to Atrévete, Yo te dare, Love song, El Centro de Mi Amor, El Alma en Pie,Cuando Tu Vas (my favorite track),Quiero Ser , El Tiempo Que Me Das, and Oye Mar. Her Wonderful voice is not used at the full of her capabilities, but what is used of it, is greatly used. What can I say? I just love the girl.

This all around artist delivers a powerful performance in each of the songs included in this album. The spanish pop sound is very polished and ready to be released internationally as it has been done. Standouts from the CD are "Yo te dare" a catchy R&B kindda song, "Atrevete (Mystify)", the first single, is superb in everyway, dance and quality wise. Chenoa's great voice is best shown in powerful ballads like "Desnuda frente a ti" and "El alma en pie (duet with David Bisbal)". "Chicas solas" on the other hand gives us a reason to smile and enjoy a good quality bubble gum pop song. This girl has a lot of talent and will be one of the next big superstars of the world. with love, a fellow singer from Puerto Rico, Alberto José.

Con su primer disco como solista "CHENOA" nos demuestra porque fue una de las finalistas en el programa español "OPERACION TRIUNFO." Nos demuestra tambien que no solo es una cara bonita, si no que tiene mucho talento y una voz excelente.

Con un total de 14 canciones, en las cuales incluye un duo con su compañero de programa David Bisbal, y dos canciones en ingles:

La variedad de ritmos hacen que este sea uno de los mejores discos en el mercado. Sin duda este sera toda una "Operacion Triunfo".

The first time I saw OT in TVEinternational I saw a girl that was brave enough to sing "simply the best" and as I followed the show my admiration for Chenoa just grew and grew. Then the cds came out (I can't even mention the injustice of her not winning) and I bought it right away, when I first listened to it some songs just didn't seem good enough for her. But now it grew on me and the more I listen to it the more I like it. It is just so different, the ballads are great, "cuando tu vas" is a work of art (great lyrics & great music), "atrevete" is inspiring, "yo te daré" just stucks on you and the duet with David Bisbal is so touching. But the song that moves me the most is "oye, mar", it is the adaptation of a portuguese song and it gives me goose bumps because i feel like it is my own. If you like her image, her voice and/or her personality you will like this cd. But to fully enjoy it, go to one of her concerts, she is just too good to be true. I doubt that there are many artists in this world that can win an audience with their first song, and Chenoa does. This cd should be looked at as a first cd that has the disadvantage of having been done in a very short time but it is very good anyway. Just wait for the next, the moment she can really chose no one will stop her, the good taste and refinement she has shown in OT will all come out and everyone (but her fans) will be amazed.

Chenoa has a beautiful, strong voice which can become soft and gentle as the songs demands. Her cover of Dulce Ponte's song (track 3) is well achieved and doesn't diminish the original in any way.
The first album of this young Spanish singer promises a bright career, once she is able to find her own style. For now it's very enjoyable, especially when in need of confidence.

I'm portuguese but I had the oportunity to watch Operacion Triunfo on TV in my country. The winner, Rosa, has a really great voice, Bisbal, is a great singer, but too much latin, but Chenoa, my favourite one, has not only a wonderful and powerful voice, but she is also a fabulous character, she's a real DIVA!! In the conquest she sang better than Tina Turner or Lisa Minelli. She is young, pretty, powerful. In short she was born for the stage. If you can't see her, please, at least, listen to his fabulous voice.

What a great singer.The most complete artist of the female finalists from Operación Triunfo opens her carrer to stardom with a bilingual production. "Love Story" is strong,superb;you have to dance it all night over;"Mistify" and "Yo te daré" allow her to be cool and "Una mujer", "Desnuda frente a tí", "Cuando tu vas" and "Con el alma en pie"(duet with David Bisbal, OT's first runner up and the next superstar in Latinoamerica and Usa), allow her to be an outstanding vocalist.I think the english influence of the producers was the best, but there are some tunes like "Chicas solas", for easy listening that doesn't work for me.

Chenoa is a great artist, with a good first album, but when she comes next time, i'm sure she's going to be more her, and we will be able to have an excellent product.

Chenoa with David Bisbal is my favorite singer.
She has a great voice, and the force and energy when she sings is incredible. Since the first time you hear her sing you love her

Well, since I buy this CD I listen it thousand times and every time I think that is more especial than the last time . And I hope that Chenoa in her second album maybe can introduce more of her personality, cause perhaps tha's a good album, with all of her voice and her talent the second would be better.

Chenoa has a nice voice, but not in range or clarity, she just sounds appealing. She sings regular pop songs, alot like american music.
