I bought this cd because I couldn't get one of her recent songs out of my head and knew I loved some of her others so I went for it. The sound quality is terrific - the sounds are all crisp and clear and Cher's voice is terrific. Great driving music or just for dancing around the house. The thing that threw me for a loop but I ended up liking was that there are some of the oldies on here too that I remember from when I was younger. So its a great compilation. Highly recommended for the fan who has enjoyed Cher over the years. She's still got it!

If you like Cher's recent "Believe" album and the older "Heart of Stone" album, this one is for you. From the list of the songs above, you'll note it also includes "Love can build a bridge" as well as "Walking in Memphis" and "Love Hurts". These are great tunes. Amazing what is packed into this album. It is worth the "import" price. I use this album for my daily workout. It helps me keep up the pace.

It's too bad this was not released in the US. But then you wouldn't get the 1995 #1 UK charity hit, The Judd's Love Can Build A Bridge with Crissy Hynde, Nenah Cherry and Eric Clapton on guitar. It's not to be missed! It includes her big hits from the 60's with Sonny, I Got You Babe, The Beat Goes On and her first solo hit Dylan's All I Really Wanna Do. Bang Bang is not the original hit version from the 60's, but the remake from 1987. Only one song from the 70's is here, Gypsy's Tramps & Thieves. The rest is her 80's and 90's hits including hits from her biggest selling CD, Believe, Strong Enough, All Or Nothing and Dove L'Amore. The original versions of Walking In Memphis and One By One (UK only version). I wish they put the dance remix versions of these songs to coincide with her current successful dance music hits. The single remix versions of these songs are hard to get. Other hits include The Shoop Shoop Song from Mermaids, If I Could Turn Back Time, Love And Understanding and I Found Someone.

Normally, when I get online to buy, I want an item now. But this album--well CD--is the best of Cher in my Cher collection. It bangs out the hits with excellent sampling sound. I'm back to order more for my sister. She has sharp tastes too.

This greatest hits package is a must for Cher fans.Songs such as the UK version of "one by one","Love can build a bridge" which is sung by Cher,Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders and Nenah Cherry and a remix of "Dove l'amore"make this worthwhile!...Add in "Walking in memphis" and all the hits from "Believe" and you have a very cool Cher cd!

This is the most fantastic Cher Greatest Hits CD ever. I ordered mine from the Uk in November but...Child buy this now! As you can see it has some absolutely incredible Cher songs, Believe, Strong Enough, If Could Turn Back Time, I found Someone...but the kicker is One By One. Since the CD is from Europe this is the original version(not the on released in the US), and man it rocks. The tempo is faster and the beat is-shall we say "off the hook", Walking In Memphis is also worth the effort. So buy it now! It is too good it could rot your teeth...

First off, a customer reccomended Cher - Greatest Hits (Import) INSTEAD of Cher - Greatest Hits (Import)? In the dictionary, under REDUNDANT, it says see REDUNDANT?
That said, this is an anthology of a legend, and the soundtrack of a lifetime! I remember, as a kid, sitting in front of the t.v. every week to watch "The Sonny And Cher Show". I actually stumbled accross this album by accident. I heard "Walking In Memphis" on the X-Files, and went snooping to see if Cher actually recorded it. When I saw this, I grabbed it! It's got her signature songs with Sonny. (I Got You, Babe & The Beat Goes On.) There's also the Essential "Gypsys" and her best hits from the 80's & 90's. I don't remember "Just Like Jesse James" getting airplay, but I always found it to be one of her best, & an instant classic! However, I had to give it 4 stars instaed of 5, & I'll explain. I always believed "Dark Lady" & "Half Breed" to be in a 3-way tie with "Gypsys" as her absolute greatest! HOW CAN YOU PUT TOGETHER A CHER'S GREATEST HITS AND LEAVE OFF THOSE 2 CLASSICS?!! If you could get this collection, plus those 2 tracks, it would rank with the all-time greatest albums in history!

This cd is a Import from Australia but I bought it for $15.00 at Wal-Mart In Beckly West Virginia i had no clue it was worth $31.99.The price is unfair but the cd Is Awesome BUY IT!

This is Cher's first Greatest Hit album to include all four hits from the ''Believe'' album, it has a nice variety of tracks, featuring mostly her previous work such as ''Walking In Memphis'' and ''Love Can Build A Bridge''.

I was really glad to see that one of my ultimate favorites by Cher was included here, the track ''Love Hurts'' is very haunting, and her vocals sound so upsetting it makes you feel depressed.

Anyhow My favorites are; 1. Believe, 11. All Or Nothing, 6. Love Hurts, 9. One By One, 10. Strong Enough, 19. Dov'e L'amore (Emilio Estefan Jnr. Mix), 3. If I Could Turn Back Time. Like I've said before, all of them are my favorites except for the very early ones including Sonny Bono- but those above are my ultimate favorites off this compilation.

Thanks to Cher, we have another Greatest Hits album, which for a big change includes all four of her dance floor hits.

Take your time to get this CD.

This is a MUST for a Cher fan! It has the new "Believe" all the way back to "I Got You Babe." The problem is that this has UK's greatest hits and not U.S.'s (although some tracks were chart-toppers for both countries). "Turn Back Time - Cher's Greatest Hits" was released in the United States around same time this CD was released in the United Kingdom. One problem with "Turn Back Time - Cher's Hits": It stops around the 1991 hit, Love and Understanding. A problem with UK's greatest hits CD is that "After All" and "Take Me Home" (and others) were not chart-toppers in the UK, and are not included on this album. What I am trying to get at is that you should get "Turn Back Time - Cher's Greatest Hits" AND "Cher: The Greatest Hits" to really have ALL of Cher's hits, whatever country.
