Great if your in seventh grade (or lower!),
By Diane Morgan (New England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cherokee Lightning (Paperback)
This book is written on a sixth or seventh grade reading level. It only has NINETY FOUR PAGES!! I was very disappointed. I couldn't get past the sixth or seventh page. Again, this would be a great pre-teen book.

Loved it!,
This review is from: Cherokee Lightning (Paperback)
I purchased this book because I love different takes on the Cherokee culture. Being part Naive American myself, I was very impressed with Weatherford's use of Tsulagi (Iroguoian) language throughout the story. The plot was well thought out and a welcome change from the usual Native American romances I have grown accustomed to reading. The connection between the two Neetas was both refreshing and creative and my only complaint was that I wish I could find a Kanuga of my very own.

The serice is great, got the book really early. Even though the story is only 97 pages long the story is good. I loved it.
