Having thought I had lost their music forever, it is a sheer delight to be able to listen to all their albulms found with Amazon. While I enjoy all their sounds with the symphonic band backing their scores, I particularly enjoyed listening to their same arrangements with piano, bass & drums. It allows even more enjoyment of their voices without the sometimes overriding orchestrations.

I too had thought that I would never see this greatest of jazz groups ever released on CD. You must hear them to understand the class and sophistication they bring to music. Also try the Singers Unlimited who were created by two of the Hi-Los. You can't find better music than this!!

This singing and harmony on this album is very good considering the lack of editing available back when it was recorded, but I found the over-all effect to be rather dated. It's good value for money in that there are quite a number of songs but the songs are such that you are quite happy that they finish without much ado. I bought the album hoping to hear more of a jazz angle, with some instrumental breaks, because I know that some of their albums/songs were more along that line. I was dissapointed.
