I actually sent this back. The color was lighter than pictured-too reddish. While the design seemed fine, the one I received had a number of cracks in it. It appeared to have been cracked during production, and they just went ahead and stained it. So, sloppy workmanship would be my overall impression.

The coaster holder is well made with felt on the bottom for non-marring, but the cherry color is so orange. It's not the color as pictured at all. Do not buy this one if you are looking for a reddish-brown finish.

This was so frustrating, I bought this coaster holder and I bought thirstystone coasters. The coasters don't fit in the holder.
