I have a lot of repetitive motion damage in my right shoulder and suffer horrendous headaches when I have to type or mouse much. I have been using this keyboard for about three hours and so far, have only a fraction of the pain I usually experience. This alone makes it completely worthwhile for me.

I have dropped it once already (the same repetitive motion damage makes me clumsy) and it's fine. This is a HUGE plus.

The action on the keys requires a firm touch, but as I learned on an old Royal manual typewriter, I tend to strike too hard for most modern keyboards anyway.

The ten-key pad is a little awkward. If I use the keyboard without a lap desk with wrist-rest and try and ten-key, I either have to hold my wrist arched--thereby defeating the ergonomics of having the keyboard in my lap--or use my lap desk with built-in wrist rest. This is, in my estimation, no real drawback, just a little short of perfection is all.

By far the trickiest thing is getting used to the different layout of the keyboard, and learning not to reach for the mouse when I need the touchpad. That is just a matter of retraining my reflexes, and won't be particularly onerous.

When I received the keyboard, I turned my system off, unplugged my old mouse and keyboard, and plugged this one in, and restarted the computer, It worked immediately, although WINDOWS seemed to think I needed a restart and insisted on my doing so.

This keyboard is well worth the slightly pricey ticket.
