Book Description

Cherry Juice January 2, 2008
Step-siblings Minami and Otome are finally getting along as true siblings should--but romance always seems to get in the way! Minami has a girlfriend and Otome is dating Minami's best friend, but everything they do only drives the two of them closer together! From special holidays to long nights of studying for entrance exams, Otome continues to turn to Minami for comfort when she has problems. But what if Minami doesn't want to be just Otome's "brother" anymore?

4.0 out of 5 stars Sibling Rivalry Part 2, February 26, 2008
This review is from: Cherry Juice Volume 2 (v. 2) (Paperback)

Minami is now dating Kasumi and Otome is dating Amane. All are readying for the Christmas holidays, but Amane is quite distressed when Otome decides to spend the day with her brother, Minami, instead of him. Added to that Minami is acting so strangely, always finding an excuse to be near Otome and cuddle with her, causing Kasumi to become suspect of his true feelings for Otome.

What happens when your one true love is your sibling? This series tries to answer just that. It is sweet and endearing and yet chock full of "Oh wow, that's just wrong" moments. I am still feeling a bit of confusion about some of the artistry , but the illustrator now seems to be making better usage of the panels to convey a point graphically. I look forward to the next volume.
