Cherry Ames
These books were puchrase for my 12 year old grandaughter. This is her 3rd set, she just loves them.

The Cherry Ames novels tend to be a little less interesting as they go on. I still think the first four are the best. They still show the variety of possibilities available to nurses, most of which are still options today. The Cherry Ames novels tend to be a little less interesting as they go on. I still think the first four are the best. They still show the variety of possibilities available to nurses, most of which are still options today. Even though I am a physician, I was still surprised by some of the options available to nurses that I hadn't thought of. As a physician, it's interesting to see a historical snapshot of medicine in the 30's-40's. These stories appealed to me as a young girl when I found them on an aunt's shelves, and they are still fun to read.

This book set is both appropriate for teens and adults to read. If you are interested in nursing you will probably be interested in these books.
