I purchased this desk/chair combo and i love it. I was extremely easy to put together, and I am a single female who hates doing those types of things. The color is appealing, and the chair is just adorable. It doesnt look like the price I paid for, doesnt look cheap at all. It is nicely made for the price, and is a decent size, not too big and not too small. Only complaint I would give is if you need a desk for storage then this isn't the desk for you. It has only one drawer, the middle one, and I use that for pens and such.

We now have 3 of these Queen Anne desk and chair sets. Bought the 1st in 2003 for about $250. It's excellent. Use it everyday. Bought the 2nd in 2010 for $225. It's good, but noticeably cheaper in terms of construction and appearance than the earlier version. Bought one more in Nov. of 2011 for $200 (including about $50 of shipping), and boy has the quality declined. I don't know who makes these now, but they seem to get cheaper in price and cheaper in quality too. The 2011 chair set was so bad, I couldn't even get all the parts to fit the chair. So, the chair is only held up by 3 of the 4 necessary bolts. I'm worried it will break when someone is sitting in it. I know it's not me b/c I've put together this same set with no problems twice before. It's just getting less well made as the price goes down. I'm still giving it 4 stars b/c it is very pretty and probably still looks nicer than one would expect for so cheap. But, if you can afford better, I'd skip this unless it's for a kid or something and you're not expecting much.

This is a very beautiful desk and chair. Bought for a spare bedroom as a vanity/makeup table. We had a slight problem with 1 leg on the chair and the seller took care of it immediately. When we received the replacement part, everything was fine. Easy to put together. I had never put a chair together before, I couldn't believe how easy it was. Deep rich look to it. We will be purchasing end tables and a wall table as well to match. VERY SATISFIED!
