Cheryl Day is a self-taught baker, guided as a young girl by her mother JanieQ and Grandmother Hanna. Her firsthand knowledge of their tried-and-true secrets
adds a treasured homespun quality to Cheryl's desserts. That, as well as fine
ingredients and plenty of butter! Cheryl's enthusiasm for enriching lives through the time-honored art of baking is one of her most fetching qualities.

Back in the Day Bakery is a neighborhood bakery and cafe where all of the products are made in small batches by hand, with an emphasis on quality, local ingredients. The bakery is recognized nationally and locally for its down-home decadent desserts and delicious rustic breads. Cheryl and Griffith are passionate about sharing their gifts with friends and family and recognize the importance of community building and customer service.
