HUGE,

This tree is huge! We have ten foot ceilings and since this is a 9 1/2 foot tree I ordered it. Took a huge chance buying online. Long and the short...It wobbles and it is so big it has me a little scared for the kids. The very top piece looks out of proportion to the rest and the lights aren't in the back of the tree like I have always done and it is just something I have to get used to. One of my sons was helping decorate the tree and had a poke from a broken bulb, (could happen with any tree but this he will remember forever.) Pro is the unusual shape it has. It looks like an old fashioned tree by going in and out with the branches. I am loving it. I have used the areas to lay long leaf pine garland and pinecones and berries. IT IS BEAUTIFUL and I am not half done decorating. Because of its size and shape it will be a beautiful "mall tree" as my husband says, (and yes we have kid trees too.) Thought all of you would want to know what to expect. This is a tree for someone that wants to layer, hang, and drape. If it were upright and too full everything just sticks out on the edge of it. Paid $299 but now it is $269. It is a good deal for a tree that size and shape.

I ordered this tree in the 7 1/2 foot version and I just can't stress how huge it was. This one would be much bigger. I sent mine back because it was incredibly heavy (it came in three pieces and I could barely lift the bottom third) and, for that reason, VERY hard to put together. I felt that the stand was not very steady either. But, this is a gorgeous tree. If you've got the room (mine took up five square feet, for the tree alone, to say nothing of the area around it and the height) and a weight-lifter in the family to help you assemble it, plus the patience to manually "place" every tip, it'll leave everyone else's tree far behind. I just knew that I couldn't deal with all that every year. If you can't either, this may not be the tree for you. It would also be gorgeous in a business like a bank or a store that needed a really big tree and had lots of employees to put it together. If you don't need that, or can't deal with it, get a different tree.
