Lucian Niemeyer is an award-winning photogapher of numerous nature books, including the critically acclaimed Long Legged Wading Birds of the North American Wetlands. He lives in Pennsylvania. Eugene L. Meyer has written extensively about Chesapeake country for the Washington Post and is the author of Maryland, Lost and Flound....Again, also to be published in 2000. He lives in Maryland.
