Our Chesapeake Style Gourmet Crab Cakes are made from large lump and backfin crab meat. They perfect for an elegant appetizer or even as part of a main course. Pan Fry or deep fry until golden brown. These delicious Chesapeake Style Gournt presentation on a bed of dainty salad greens for an appetizers, or fan out three or four over a rice or pasta dish for a refined take on a classic comfort food combination. Before serving our Chesapeake Style Gourmet Crab Cakes, thaw th em completely in the refrigerator. Then choose your preparation method, as these cakes can be either pan fried or deep fried. To pan fry, cook them in a saut e; pan with butter and oil for about three minutes on each side. To deep fry, submerge them in 350F degree oil for at least five minutes. If you are cooking your crab cakes straight out of the freezer, allow for extra cooking time and be sure to always heat them to an internal temperature of at least 165 F degrees.
