This is the best Blink-182 album without a doubt! It's much more original than their lastest album and the drums are much better. It has one of my fovorite songs of all time--Carousel. M+M's is also one of Blink-182's best. If you like Punk, then this is definitely the Blink-182 CD for you.

This truly is a great album, definitely Blink 182's best ever. The cds Enema of The State and Take off your Pants and Jacket pale in comparison to this rockin cd. Cheshire Cat was back when Blink put some serious effort and emotion into their songs, instead of just banging out poppy, sugar-coated punk that TRL will just love. They are actually funny in this album, but actually have more serious songs than joke songs. They show off an astounding brand of pop-punk and even blending a little emo and ska. My favorite track is Cacophony. It is a soulfoul (yes I am talking about Blink 182!), slower, awesome song. The lyrics are easily to relate to, especially for guys, and you can't help but bob your head and sing along. Other great songs include= Carousel- Rad guitar work, I love the slow beginning eventually blending into a full blown punk song, Wasting Time- A love song, really good, masterful guitars (back when Mark and Tom actually knew how to play them), Ben Wah Balls- Funny song, with great drums courtesy of Scott Raynor, and some ska/punk mixed in, and last but not least, M+Ms- The guitars immediately hooked me, but the lyrics are romantic and hilarious at the same time. So, as you can tell, I love this cd, so buy it if you are a true punk fan. People who like Enema will probably not like this true masterpiece of pop-punk. Good listen, even for a hardcore fan.

I must admit after listening to their three album releases and most of Buddha, Cheshire Cat is their album I still keep in my stero. Dude Ranch had addicting guitar riffs and rythm, but the songs were pretty uninspired, if catchy. and Enema Of The State is a highly polished, refined Blink 182 who have still managed to keep their original sense of humor and wit as in Dude Ranch, but lost most of their style in favor of a sanitized pop-punk style.

I can truley say without a doubt that this is their best album. notable songs include the opening track "Carousel", "M+Ms" (which is overhyped), "Peggy Sue", "Cacophony", "Wasting Time", and last but certainly not least, "Romeo and Rebecca". not only are the songs on this album the wittiest they've done, but the style is captivating and distant enough from Dude Ranch that most of the songs linger long in your memory.

intrestingly, some of the best songs are played in the exact trademarked Dude Ranch style, but have more oomph and are among a more varied crowd that they exeed most of the songs on Dude Ranch (cheak out that last verse in "Cacophony" and most of "Does My Breath Smell?").

not to say that Dude Ranch is a bad album, it's worth your time, but if you wish to hear Blink 182 at their best, go grab Cheshire Cat. I would, however, recomend purchasing their albums in reverse order (starting with Enema and working back to Buddha) if you want the full effect of Blink 182's ever-changing style. Foxx gives it five stars. yes he does.

This is with-a-doubt the best album ever on this planet, as well as Blink's best. These were the days of touring in a band, and when they weren't making any money! Carousel, M & M's, and Wasting Time are the three "singles" (Carousel was never a released single but it is very well marketed) of the album. The last three tracks are joke songs, when the band pretty much shows what they do when they are by themselves: screw off! Ben Wah Balls is hilarious, as is the end of "Depends." If you like Eve 6 you will like this, the music isn't quite as rough as Dude Ranch but not quite as clean as Enema Of The State. If you were debating buying this cd i would definetly recomend it.

This is the best cd i own.not only b/c blink182 is my passion but the songs are awesome and really fuuuuuuuuuunny . i relate to this cd better than any other one they have made.The songs are really original and u know only that a band like blink would sing these song... this cd is way more punkish than enema of the state or dude ranch........everyone will luv this cd..(eventhough travis is not in the band).... =) J1e8n2n*y

It's not Blink's fault that they are sell-outs... Blame the trendy pop top 40 stations and MTV... they have played blink's music with the gay boy bands. I still think EotS is a great CD, just incredibly trendy now.... this is their best album available and I highly suggest buying it. Dude Ranch seems to only have one sound throughout the entire CD, and that gets old (don't get me wrong, that's a great CD, too) But this is by far the best, with such lesser-known hits as Wasting Time, M & M's, Carousel, Strings, Does My Breath Smell?, Touchdown Boy, and several others.... their great songwriting took a backseat to joke songs soon after, with the exception of Dude Ranch's Dammit and I'm Sorry and EotS's Adam's Song and Going Away to College. If you are new to the spectacle that is blink 182, you'll be pleasantly surprised with this CD... it has a much different sound than their newer stuff and it has a great variety to it. You'll be laughing your arse off the entire time, too with "Depends" and "Ben-Wah-Balls"

This CD is good. Hey, it's Blink 182 after all. However, there is still a good number of those rough edges left over from Buddha, with which this CD shares many tracks. This sounds much less like it was recorded in a San Diego garage, but still doesn't make me think of this band at their best. It is a bit more varied than Dude Ranch, but the quality isn't there. There are some great songs on here, and you should buy it (and NOT Buddha) for that reason. Not as good as their later albums, but it's still a lot of fun!

Few had heard of the San Diego punk band Blink 182, until 1999, where they emerged with their 4th release, Enema Of The State. Cheshire Cat, released in 1994 was Blink's 2nd album. This truly started it all. At that time, the band consisted of Mark Hoppus, Tom Delonge, and Scott Raynor, who some may haven't heard of. He was Blink's old drummer, and in my opinion their best. The album starts off with Carousel, a pretty decent track that states what this album is all about, hard times. After Carousel, M+M's pops up. This is one of the top Blink songs of all time. Next is Fentoozler, a cool song indeed. After that, Touchdown Boy. I love this one. Haha. Just listen, you'll see. Strings and Peggy Sue follow. Two other cool songs. Sometimes, a one minute and four second jam emerges. Gotta love this one. After that, Tom Delonge comes on and gives the into to Does My Breath Smell? Cacophony, one of my favorites on the cd follows. Then, TV, and Toast & Bananas. Finally, we get to Wasting Time, which in my opinion is the best song on the cd, and one of the top songs the band has ever done. Romeo & Rebecca follows. Then, the three classic joke tracks, Ben Wah Balls, Just About Done, and Depends end the cd. All and all, I love this cd. It will go down as one of my favorites. Anyone who likes Blink will enjoy this cd. It's one of their best.

Yeah yeah i know. All the punkers out there already have this cd, and yeah yeah Blink 182 sold out but just look at the legacy they left behind. They wrote some of the most amazing songs be it in lyrics (Carousel, Wasting Time) or in just amazing guitar riffs the opening in M&M's in particular. When Blink 182 sold out they stopped making good songs, and thats alright, cause they had a great run as pop punk's finest band. So to all you tennyboppers out there, put down the BSB and go get Dude Ranch, Cheshire Cat, and even Buddha, but just burn that Enema Of the State.

Cheshire Cat is one of my favorite cds. When I listen to this and then listen to Enema of the State, it's hard to believe that they are the same band. They really aren't. It's too bad blink diluted their punk sound for the pop-nsync-britney crowd. but anyway, i won't get into that. Carousel, Touchdown Boy, Peggy Sue, Toast & bananas, and especially Romeo and Rebecca are the best songs on Cheshire cat. depends is hilarious. the only song i'm sick of is just about done, which is funny until you've heard it about 20 times. all i can say is, get this cd and you won't be disappointed. and those of you who say you LOVE blink 182 because you like "all the small things", well, this cd isn't for you!
