This is my third pound, and I think it's the best one I've gotten so far. The colors in this bag are much nicer to the ones I've seen before, with a some really pretty ones, and far fewer ugly ones. There are some warmer, contemporary colors, if that makes any sense, and less of the speckled ones, which can be hit and miss depending on what the two colors are. I also got a really nice breakdown of types:

16d20
8d12
4d%
16d10
7d8
15d6
5d4

...plus 19d6 of pipped dice of various sizes, with a nice set of six identical little dark green ones, and three matching dice that have some sort of stylized dragon or flame in place of the six. Two of the other pipped dice have little abrasions on one corner, but I can't find any other noticeable flaws in any of the other dice.. The matched set was a really great cookies and cream pattern, and is now officially my favorite set.

So, that's 90 (+7) in the whole bag. It's a little less than the other bags I've gotten, but the overall assortment is nicer, so I don't mind too much. Finally, make sure to check ALL the listings for this product. There are three, and the prices of all of them can vary wildly.

I am a gamer. I love my dice. I love having many kinds of all shapes and sizes. I like having a variety of dice that I can use at any time for anything I need to use dice for. Unfortunately what I got in my Pound O' Dice was a little dissapointing.

1 Set of Pound O' Dice Exclusive Dice (not that impressive really)
1 Oversized D6 (Guess I can throw it at someone if I am mad)
1 Really Tiny D6 (This will most likely get lost somewhere)
25 D20
22 D10
12 D6 (Numbered Sides)
11 D6 (With Pips)
3 D10 Percentile
3 D8
2 D12
2 D4
1 D6 that is a little bigger than regular but not as big as the oversized

I was kind of hoping for more of a spread of sizes. There are some matching colors and some D6 with symbols instead of the #1. But overall I am ok with it. Although I will most likely not buy something like this again. Most likely I will see if my local gaming store will take the exclusive set and give me something a little more visually appealing.

Pretty much something you would buy if you are selling dice individually or are new to gaming and would like a massive collection of dice for pretty cheap.

All right, first time buyer and I'm extremely happy with it.

I ordered before looking at the pictures in the (other) Pound-O-Dice reviewer photo galleries. After looking at some of them, I was convinced my money had been wasted. This fear was not true in the least. My dice arrived very quickly and a relatively great mix. I did not receive tons of small dice, miscasts, or pink dice no one wanted.
I also did not receive as few D4's as many reviewers, but I did get fewer D12's. I also did not get 100+ dice, but as happy as I am the estimate was close enough. I would recommend a pound for any player wanting to add to his or her collection.

Anyway, the contents are as follows

1 Set of Blue speckled dice. They aren't like the picture, but they are nice and I could see them at normal set prices ($9.99+) I am not including their numbers in the following.

7D4 (One D4 was dimpled on the side, the only imperfection in the entire lot. It also is my favorite D4 in a cream and iridescent clear Blue swirl, slightly smaller than the other D4's.)

8D6 Hard/Flat edged (These are among my very most favorite dice I received. Among these are sets of three Red and Grey dice with Gold numbers, then another three with Blue and Silver respectively.)

18D6 Soft/Round edged (3 miniatures, 1 large, 1 GIANT clear Red,2 matched Dark Blue with Red speckles, 2 matched White and Red pips, 4 matched Robins' egg Blue with Black pips, 3 with a tiger's face instead of a six [two Pearl with Grey numbering, one Grey with White], overall a good mix.)

9D8's (Mixed bag here, 2 matched White with Yellow speckles and Black numbers, 2 matched Lime Green with Black numbering, the rest were useable colors.)

4D%'s (The first of two full-set limiting factor, two of which with bad colors, the other two quite nice with one being the only clear D10/% in the set.)

19D10's (4 matched Blue speckled with Green numbers, 2 matched light Grey-green with Green numbering, 2 matched Olive drab and Black, and a number of other nice colors. All-in-all maybe only 4 with bad colors.)

4D12's (The most disappointing number next to the D%'s, ugly colors on three of them.)

21D20's (Tons of matching dice all but three being dual-colored splits. X4 "Banana" dice others have gotten, X5 Red and Purple with White numbers, X2 Black and White with Red numbers,X2 Blue/Orange with Green and Black numbering respectively, X3 Lime Green and Green with White numbering, X3 White and Grey with two having red numbers and the last -my favorite D20 in the lot- blue.

The total comes to 97 (with the complete set added in).
Enough to make five complete sets of dice with the auto set added in.

Thrilled? You bet I am, I can't wait until the weekend gaming time.

I know it's the luck of the draw, but man I ended up with a lot more PINK dice then I'd rather own. Anyway, this is a great deal and worth the buy. I ended up with:

19 Twenty Siders
11 Twelve siders
25 Ten Siders
09 Eight Siders
28 Six Siders
9 Four siders

This was my first dice purchase ever, it is exactly as advertised, and I am definitely satisfied. I got 99 dice total (details below), all came in good condition. Now, I did not know this, but I guess these dice are the factory rejects, as most are fairly ugly. Not to say there weren't any cool ones, and the full set included was very cool (as in I would purchase it if I saw it in a store), but the majority of mine had split paint jobs, odd numeral paint colors, etc. I guess I can't complain, as I got 99 for the price of a couple full sets, I just thought you all should know. As for the variety, it was heavy on d6's, d10's, and d20's, it was extremely light on d4's (I got two, including the one from the full set) and d8's. Now, I rarely use those two, so its not a major problem, its just a little disappointing since I can't construct more than two full sets out of 99 dice. Still, I highly recommend this item.

Dice (99 total):
2 d4's,
4 d8's,
8 d12's,
22 d20's,
26 d10's,
and 36 d6's.

This product is great if you need a lot of dice for not much price. The real thing i didn't like was the small amount of d4 but considering they gave me more than the estimated amount of dice it made up for it. Here's exactly what I got

23-d20
4-d4
64-d6
7-d8
6-%d(which are pretty much just 10 sided dice.)
7-d12
16-d10

Altogether 127 dice, included in these numbers was one separate complete set of white dice a nice touch. Definitely would buy again.

I'm pleased with my purchase of the Pound-o-Dice, aside from the fact that I only received 1 D4.

This is the assortment I received:
24 D20 (1 set of 2 matching, 2 sets of 3 matching, 1 set of 5 matching, 11 singles)
7 D12 (2 sets of 2 matching, 3 singles)
18 D10 (2 sets of 3 numbered 1-10 matching, 9 singles 1-10, 3 singles percentile)
10 D8 (2 sets of 2 matching, 6 singles)
29 D6 (1 set of 5 numbered, 3 sets of 2 numbered, 3 sets of 2 with pips, 1 tiny set of 2 with pips, 2 tiny singles with pips, 1 small single with pips, 3 singles with pips, 3 singles numbered, 1 giant with pips)
1 lonely D4 (top read)
Plus the special speckled set, which was cream with blue.

So I got a total of 95 (88 mixed and one set) dice. None of them seem unusable, and there are some really neat colors (I particularly like the half yellow half orange D20).

I ordered this as a starter for playing D&D, and once I buy some more D4s, I'll be ready to roll!

Just what it says, it came with about 100 assorted die and at least one matching set. The matching set that I received is pretty cool looking and there are a couple of cool individual dice in the bunch. Overall it is exactly what it says it is and is a pretty good bargain for the price.
