5.0 out of 5 stars Cindy January 22, 2010
Format:Paperback
I really enjoyed reading this book to my grandkids. The pictures are cute and the comments are quite wry. Using photographs makes this story more "real" for children, and the gentle lessons put forth are a great inspiration for discussion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Teaching compassion and kindness February 19, 2009
By H. Foss
Format:Paperback
My three year old daughter loves this book! As she has a dog of her own, she can really relate to the story about learning, compassion and kindness. She brought the book to her preschool one day to share with her class - it was a huge hit as kids can relate to animals so well. I love the personal touch given to the book by the author Barbara Ebel. It is lovely all around and would be a welcome addition to any child's book collection!
