Great first mouse for a toddler/child,

I purchased this product for my almost 3 year old daughter, who recently started learning to use a computer at daycare. The regular-sized mouse is simply too large for her to manipulate, and has extra buttons on the side that she would accidently click. I have both mice connected and just move mine out of the way when she wants to play. I really like the fact that the buttons are color-coded: I can tell her to click the blue side, which is much easier for her to figure out than saying left-click. I have nothing negative to say, would recommend this product to others.

Teaching anything to a small child on the computer is difficult. This makes one aspect of the process easier. This mouse is small enough that my 2 year old grand daughter pick it up and use it without difficulty. The USB cord is long enough (6 - 7 feet) to reach the computer without any creative routing or stretching.

My son is constantly asking me if he can play on the computer and I'm reluctant because he doesn't maneuver the mouse very well. This product has changed my point of view! When I plugged it into the computer his eyes lit up because he knew it had to be for him. I showed him how to position his hand on it and the rest was history! All I have to do is tell him which color to click. He got the concept very clickly (he's four years old). This mouse is certainly worth the investment. I wish I had looked for it sooner!

I ordered this for my four-year-old, who couldn't seem to master our wireless mouse. When I first looked at it, I had some doubts, because it's not dramatically smaller than our other mouse. Nevertheless, the first time I plugged it in, my daughter instantly got the hang of it and I was astounded.

Not Just for Kids!,

I have small hands, even though I'm an adult. I found regular size mice too big and my hand(s) would get sore and cramped. Even my wrists began to bother me. Once I found this mouse and started using it, my hands immediately felt better. Been using for months now with no pain and the size is perfect. If you have smaller than average hands and conventional mice bother you, try this one. Highly recommended.

Good size, but doesn't work well,

I bought this mouse for my 3 year old daughter. She was delighted with the size and different colored buttons. But she quickly became frustrated with it because it wasn't as sensitive as our larger mouse and therefore harder to control. It's basically worthless now because I have no use for a mouse that doesn't work even if it is a good size. I searched all over for this and was very disappointed that I paid so much for it. I've since run across similar ones at discount stores and wish I had tried those first.

My daughter squealed in delight as soon as she saw this mouse. She couldn't work the buttons on my large mouse, but this one is the perfect size for the typical 3-4 year old (my daughter's 2 1/2, but very big for her age). Running Windows 7, I was able to hot swap this mouse for my old one (meaning the computer was running when I made the change). The Tiny Mouse worked instantly. The pointer speed was pretty high, but that was easy to adjust (Start->Control Panel->Mouse->Pointer Options->adjust the speed slider until it feels right). My daughter's been using this mouse for about a week, and I'm amazed at how adept she's become with the PC. She just needs Daddy to turn on the speakers and monitor (too high for her to reach) and she can log in, start whichever game she wants and play it all by herself. This is one of the best kids' products I've ever bought.

Works as advertised. A great little mouse for little fingers! My 4-year-old definitely finds it easier to use than a standard size mouse.

I am recently retired and have been doing a lot of repetitive work transferring slides into digital photos and I noticed that my pointy-finger knuckle was becoming stiff and painful. I have small hands and thought a smaller mouse might be the answer. It was!!! Try it, you won't be dissappointed. It was shipped from CompUSA and took longer to arrive than things shipped from Amazon, but it was worth the wait.
