3.0 out of 5 stars Nice pictures, but is that enough?, January 28, 1999

The pictures are excellent, but they are not plentiful, particularly in the case of the '69 and '70 Chevelles. Of course, much attention is paid to Yenko and Baldwin-Motion, as in other similar publications. The text (also in short supply) is well-written. Overall, should be titled "Chevelle-Light".

1.0 out of 5 stars Made in China!@%#, July 8, 2005
This review is from: Chevelle (Enthusiast Color) (Paperback)
I thought this book was awful. As a serious Chevelle enthusiast I noticed tons of mistakes. Such as pictures of a 1970 "LS-6" with air conditioning. Everyone knows this was a solid lifter engine and AC was not offered on this motor. The cars in the book are rough with many of them dirty and unkemp. The author could not find a picture of a car that had been vacumed? To end the aggravation I flipped to the back cover and it says "printed in China". I threw it in the trash! Don't waste your money!

Okay the book isn't perfect but if you own one of these great cars you know there's just never enough books on the topic. Buy the factory service manuals first, then add this one. Oh, and please drive your Chevelle, that's what they're for!
