I am rather disappointed with this manual. I have a 1986 Pontiac 1000; clearly my car falls within the date range of this manual. However, it has been wrong on the few issues for which I have consulted it.

I found, after having gotten the car up and being about to change the oil, that it listed the wrong socket size needed to remove the plug from the oil reservoir.

Further, when I needed to change a tail light recently, wishing to avoid hassle, I consulted the manual. It told me to go through the trunk, removing a panel to get at the back of the light. I did so, only to discover the body of the car blocking the way. It turns out you change the taillights by removing the covers on the outside.

I have had trouble using the size of socket it recommended for removing the spark plugs, but that may be because of awkward angling.
