This review is from: Chevrolet Corvette 1984 thru 1996 Automotive Repair Manual (Paperback)
A LOT OF GOOD REPAIR INFO. FOR THE GUY WHO LIKES TO TINKER WITH HIS VETTE. WRITTEN IN AN EASY TO UNDERSTAND FORMAT. HAS GOOD ELEC. DIAGRAMS FOR ALL C4 YEARS. DOES NOT GIVE YOU JUST ENOUGH INFO. TO GET YOU IN TROUBLE LIKE SOME OTHER AFTER MARKET MANUALS.

Haynes Review,
By Len Sparks (Orchard Park, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chevrolet Corvette 1984 thru 1996 Automotive Repair Manual (Paperback)
This is a good manual, covering years from 1984 to 1996, however not being year specific it can not equal the GM shop manual for a specific year.

Not useful for the LT1, LT5 series,
By Shannon L Price (Smyrna, GA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chevrolet Corvette 1984 thru 1996 Automotive Repair Manual (Paperback)
Like most of the Haynes manuals, the info is based upon a complete teardown and rebuild. The problem is that the C4 series Corvette spanned from the 1984 to the 1996 model years. There were many changes along the way. That said, expect to see plenty of useful info on the older tuned port cars, and the bizarre 4+3 OD manual tranmission. You will wish that you had additional information if you own one of the LT1 series cars. I am currently struggling with the removal of the bellhousing in my 1993 6-spd car, and this book has zero information on the removal of the reverse style (pull) clutch assembly.
