This book is useless for many diagnostics for post 1996 Trucks. It does not contain needed informatin for simple things as testing fuel pressure and gives only informatin regarding the pre 1997 models don't buy it if you have a 1997 or above. I have found this to be a problem with this line of manuals. They also missed parts on my ford. That is why I am here looking for a new manual. Also I called them to ask if they had an updated version and never got the courtesy of a return call.

While this book may help someone figure out where the dipstick is and what it is used for, it is quite useless for anything else. Electrical diagrams are wrong, shows parts that aren't there, and there is little said of the onboard computer, and its functions. My cat doesn't even like to sit on it! I wonder if this review will make it onto the list? I gave it a single star.

I purchased this book recently and had to return it. The description here does not quite match the one on the cover. None of the S-10 models are covered by this book.

The book seems well laid out and covers a good range of operations. But it does not cover all the models you might think. Suburbans are covered starting in 1992, and the Jimmy/Blazer only 1992-1995. Diesels are not covered at all. Since I have a 1990 diesel Suburban, I had to return the book.

The manual was very helpful, however when using the index the page numbering was incorrect. The places that I noteced were incorrect did bring you withing 2-3 pages of the correct spot, so if you have a fairly reasonable idea of what's going on you won't get too confused.

I bought this book in order to fix up a diesel truck, and I had to open the wrapping just to learn that diesels aren't covered. Besides that, the book is good, a bit dry to read maybe, but the procedures are well explained. It's not a book you take with you to read in bed, if you're not EXTREMELY interested.

This book is very helpful in finding the location of parts that are hard to find by a novice. It is very helpful in its explanations.

I cant really rate the product because it was canceled by the company due to not being in stock.I did get a similar manuel from the same place and that was 4 and a half stars it was in good used condition and came to my house pretty quick even during the busy Christmas week.freddiefennell@ymail.com

This manual was in good condition. I plan to use Amazon.com in the future.

I ordered this book on 27 Dec, 3 weeks later & I still don't have the book. Order early if you need this book.
