There is no pungent smell with these mats (I noticed some other mats did have reviews about a very bad smell), they look nice and they feel sturdy. They do the job they are intended for.

Floor mats are quality made, nice and thick and quite absorbent. My only complaint is they don't fit my 2010 Silverado very well. Should have been bigger and less slippery on the vinyl flooring.
