The 6th western romance of Gentry's well research, steamy historical series that intertwines beautiful fictional characters that minored in making the west.
Lucy is the daughter of a Cheyenne woman that was abandon by her white army officer. When Lucy's heart broken mother dies Lucy is all alone in the world. She is stuck at a fort with white soldiers all ready to pounce upon her innocence until Johnny Ace claims her as his own. Lucy wont go acceptably to her savior as he is a Pawnee scout; sworn enemy of her people.
Captivating romance, steamy sexual content.

Another great novel from Mrs. Gentry, this story is about a wealthy businessman who is corrupt and has alot of urges, he is an army offical and kinda' "travels" anyway he unwittingly get a cheyenne maiden pregnant with promises to come back for , but he doesn't and she spends the rest of her life going around the forts with the help of her daughter, she ends up at a fort where she dies and in come Jonny Ace a mysterious indian who has an "itch" for Luccy, but they are natural enemies,so basically this book is all about her and his battle agianst the tribes, and against the forces of nature and love. This books is packed with raw sensuality with STEAMY love scenes...all i can say is WOWZA' to them , but another very good book from Mrs. Gentry, by far her best, in my opionon.
