The cover art it beautiful, but the description is what convinced me to get this book. The characters are well developed allowing the reader to get lost in the story (completely losing track of time). I've marked the release date of the second book on my calendar so I can buy it the day it comes out.

This was the longest snoozefest about a whiny, accident prone, wishy-washy girl and three hunky over-protective, not-so-bright guys. After reading it, I'm still not sure who they all are or where they're from because they never give you any concrete information. Everything is shrouded in this big mystery and the three hunks treat the girl like a little baby. They don't tell her anything about anything, hence the reader doesn't learn anything either. I kept reading hoping Cheyenne would stop alternating between whining and crying or stomping off mad having a tantrum. One of the things that really bothered me was that she couldn't seem to decide which guy she liked so she kept going back and forth between the two of them. She'd be kissing one today and kissing the other one tomorrow. She acted so stupid and naive that I started to really dislike her. Her adoptive father was supposed to have educated her so well but obviously, he didn't tell her anything about men. I was just SO fed up by the time I got to the end that I immediately took it off my kindle, and I WILL NOT be reading anything else by this author. The only good thing I can say about it is that grammatically, it is correctly written and easy to read...not alot of typos. I just wish it were actually worth reading; seriously, don't waste your time.

I loved this book! I can't wait for the paperback to come out because I know several people I want to give it to. A paranormal book that isn't all about vampires. I thought it was very well written for a young adult book; definitely one I could recommend to someone who wanted a great book without alot of gore, foul language, and sex. I am looking forward to the next one. Great work for a first book.
