This is a really fun game and it doesn't take a long time to play. I really liked that it includes all the expansions in one box, which is a great way to save money. I also liked that it came with counters. I would definately say that the recommended age level on this game (12-adult) is incorrect. It has alcohol, drug and sex references galore! The references are very funny, but I think that it would be something that I would recommend that a mature high school aged child could play, but it's definately geared towards college age and older.

While I was expecting something a little deeper and more competitive, Chez Geek is the perfect "beer and pretzels game" for your friends who may not be into tabletop or card games that much. Another way of describing it would be like your college days meets Munchkin.

Basically all you do is get a job (or lack thereof), and spend your money and free time doing pretty much whatever broke college kids end up doing. You can invite people over, go shopping, or do activities. Activities range from playing D&D to having "nookie." The best part of this game is the variety and the flavor text of the cards. Unfortunately, a lot of these cards are basically copies of each other with different names tacked on to them in the sense that they do the same thing. What keeps this game interesting is that other players can play cards to distract or deter you. I think my one big gripe with this game is that there weren't enough of these cards, and as a result, a lot of the game is just pure chance with the cards you draw without much strategy at all. I will say though, I do love the idea that your play area serves as your "room" within the apartment that all players are living in for the purposes of the game. It's fun to point out occasionally how cool someone's room is while another player may have a really dull room to show for themselves.

Aside from a couple of problems, this game is still pretty fun. It's an amusing game to play with just about any crowd that's mature enough, but it may not be quite on the level of other games if you're an avid tabletop-gamer. At best it's probably a game you would play between other longer and more complicated games. Just don't expect a game with much strategy to it, and you'll probably enjoy this.

Not for young ones this game is quite entertaining but it wouldn't be something a kid should play. It is very easy to understand and real fun to play with lots of friends.

This is a fun game that I really enjoy playing, and the nice thing about this set is that it includes all the expansion packs and it has counters and a dice as well! It's lighthearted and humorous! Not a game geared towards kids though.

love it, my family has started a game night every week and this is definitely a game we play a lot, much like munchkin, but different enough that it keeps you on your toes.

My wife and I got this after seeing it featured on Tabletop with Will Wheaton. The game delivers on humor and easy gameplay that you can explain in five minutes. As you draw more and more, you'll recognize at least one of the denizens of the apartment, and chuckle or groan at the memory.

This game is a great choice for those with a good sense of humor looking to have some casual fun with friends over a few beers or just to wrap up the night!
