I've had the Chi Energizer for just over 2 weeks and already I can feel a difference. I have fibromyalgia and back and neck problems so my muscles are very sore almost all the time. I had gotten some relief from acupuncture, but after doing that every week for over a year, it started to be less effective. The first few days of using the Chi Energizer I felt kind of odd, not terrible but not great either. I attributed this to my body getting used to the machine and what it was doing for me. Now, 2 weeks later, I still use it twice a day and the difference is noticable. I sleep better, my neck and back pain, while not completely gone, is greatly improved. I'm hoping with continued use, it will get even better.
I know that it's helping because the first few days, only my legs moved. The muscles in my back and neck were so tight that they just wouldn't budge! But, little by little they eased up.
It's very relaxing too. I put a sleep mask over my eyes and put my headphones on and turn my ipod on to whatever I'm in the mood to listen to and the 15 minutes just flies by!

I am 78. I spend much of the day at my computer with the consequence that my feet swell up. But I HATE exercising. A real computer potato.

The Chi Vitalizer seemed like the perfect answer, but the directions recommend using the machine on the floor. I dutifully lumbered down, hitched myself up to the machine and let 'er rip. It is a pleasant sensation, rather like being shook up in a cocktail shaker sideways. But getting back up off the floor is for me-I'm OLD- an awful chore, so I began to put off using the machine.

I decided to try the Vitalizer right on my bed, which is reasonably firm. Well, I couldn't see any difference between the shakeability of the machine on the mattress and the gyrations on the floor. I'm no light weight, either, 150 pounds and I'm tall. The machine's motor is apparently quite powerful.

So, if you're young enough to pop up and down by all means use the floor, but if not, don't hesitate to get the machine and try it on your bed. You could always get a piece of plywood to put under you if necessary.

Actually, this Chi exercising is quite addictive. When you come off the machine you'll feel a very slight tingling all over. As for my feet, the swelling is gone after a 15 minute work-out. During the session your tummy will get exercised like Santa's bowlful of jelly and you feel that something is really happening. Totally bored by an exercise bike and a treadmill, I passed on these expensive items and don't miss them a bit.

Anyway, if you're elderly there's hope for you with this machine, trust me.If you're young, you've got it made, right on the floor!

HI,..I have used this for a very short time & it has already helped me a great deal,..I have fibromyalgia,..& hurt all of the time,..& this has really helped me without the pain & strain of regular/traditional exercise,...LH
