Ceramic knives speak for themselves. For anyone who hasn't used them, it couldn't be explained, and to those that do, no explaining is necesary. This is the first time i have seen these in a set. The case design is great, the knives are great .......... 1st rate product!

I have never had a ceramic knife set before so I had no idea what to expect. What I received was an okay knife set with a pretty little holder though it was angled like this one: Chic Chef cc-023 5-piece Ceramic knife set with angled natural Rubberwood knife block. No problem, just something you should know. The knifes add no metal taste to your food. One thing to be mindful of is that the blades are white, so be sure to rinse immediately! (especially if you are cutting tomatoes or red apples, because they will stain). Overall, this is a well balanced knife set with a nice presentation for your kitchen, however the blades aren't as sharp as I would expect.

I also received the angled knife block. These knives seem to be good quality angled ceramic knives. The review by September is a bit off as these knives are very sharp and they are ceramic. This means they stain like your sink. I have had pure white (these are grayish white) ceramic knives for years and have never had a permanent stain.

The knives are angled so that only the first half of the blade lays flat against the cutting block. The knife block construction is not great quality but not so poor to prevent sandpaper and finish from making a beautiful block. The handles are comfortable and the cutting angle is nice.
