Classic 60's blues reunion,
By Gene W. Hancock "Citie Mouse01" (Baltimore, Maryland United States) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Chicago Blues Reunion: Buried Alive in the Blues (DVD)
I thought it was great seeing (and hearing) these classic performers from the 60's blues revolution together like this. Nick is a legend, for his song writing, his singing, and his positive association with people like Bloomfield and Butterfield. Tracey's powerful voice remains a delight; Barry and Harvey are in fine form. The DVD is practically worth the price for the clip of the Electric Flag and the pictures from an era that changed lives for the better. While I was never much of a fan of the Siegal- Schwall Band back in the Day, Corky could always play a nice blues harp, as he does here.A reminder of a bygone era.
