An excellent souvenir of the current Chicago blues scene.,

This review is from: A Chicago Blues Tour (Audio CD)
If you've had a chance to visit Chicago and the blues clubs, you'll appreciate this cd as a souvenir of the experience. If you haven't, it could be an introduction to the current scene (and even includes a map)!

I am not usually a fan of the blues, but heard this CD while waiting in the Field Museum Gift Shop before the Chicago Bears game a few weeks back. The music didn't give me the blues at all! The ladies working in the store were rocking to the music as they were getting the store ready for the day. We were a little early for the game so we spent a little time browsing in the store. I saw the CD case for the music they were playing and didn't really think I would ever play it at home. Once I was home a week or so I was sorry I didn't buy it and looked it up on Amazon. I really like it, but am not a "blues expert!" It's really a fun album especially "Big Boss Man." "You ain't so big...you're just tall/that's all!"I am more a fan of Van Morrison and Eric Clapton and Jonny Lang.
