5.0 out of 5 stars Chef B, November 4, 2010
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery 6.75-inch Cayenne Santoku Knife (Kitchen)
THE BEST KNIFE YOU WILL EVER BUY!!! I am a professional chef, and have owned this knife for over 5 years and it has been the BEST knife i have ever owned. I was given a set of henckels in culinary school, and didn't like them i found them just too heavy and bulky. The edge was never that good on my henckels either. I bought this knife from wal mart for 20 bucks and it has been the best 20 bucks i have ever spent. I have tried and bought other knives, but i can't ever seem to put this one down. the weight and the razor sharp edge are amazing. I have even turned some of my chef buddies who love german knives onto this amazing knife. someone is always taking my knife in the kitchen bc they love it so much. i HAVE EVEN PUT THIS KNIFE UP AGAINST A SHUN, AND GLOBAL etc. knives don't have to be expensive to be good.

We use several of these in commercial cooking applications. For the money they're hard to beat. Hold an edge very well and can be made very sharp. Grip is good.
