WARNING: The product description says this set comes with a 8" chefs knife and a bread knife, but it comes with neither. It has the paring knife, the utility knife, a 5" "partoku" knife and the 6.75" santoku knife, plus the woodblock. The knives seem of ok quality, but I'm going to have to return it because of the bad description.

Love the red! The knives are great! They are very sharp! I had the Henckel's knife set, but this is better!

These are great quality knives. They are sharp, sturdy, and feel substantial in your hand. You can really feel them gliding through food. That being said, I wish there was a different variety in the knives. Maybe it's just me, but I've already got a million paring knives laying around, and could have traded that one in for a fillet knife or something a little more specialized. The set looks great in my kitchen. I love this set, and overall am quite happy with it.

Love the knives, came sharp, good heft, in good shape. But the block's not quite engineered as well. Mine wobbles a bit, not squared on the bottom, and the cutouts for the knives aren't even either, especially the one for the scissors.

But the knives would rate 5 stars on their own.

A month earlier I made a purchase of the Cayenne Steak Knives set from another company and was happy with the quality of the knives. I was glad to have found this set; it allowed me to swap my old block of knives out with a matching set.

Not the greatest but they are good and serve their purpose, plus my wife wanted red
