and you will have a very nice carving set priced at about $29! Both are made in China but have exceptional quality for the low price. Do remember to hand-wash and do not place in a drawer with your other inexpensive knives. Like any quality, high-carbon steel knife, you should run this over the honing steel before each use.

I bought this to replace a knife missing from our classic black Wustof set. I didn't feel like paying 4x the price to get another Wustof when these offer the same quality construction, full tang, the high-quality steel that extends through the handle...and matches perfectly! You'd never know except it's missing the stamp. I fell in love with the Wustof but I don't think I can justify the price now that I know these are out there ..I think I'll be adding some more to my collection!

This knife is an exceptional value.You are just NOT gonna find a knife of this quality for $12!! It's nice and heavy,balanced and holds a razors edge.Buy this knife.You will not be disapointed.

I am slowly replacing my 35 year old knives and found this size difficult to find. This was a perfect size and very comfortable in my hand.

I purchased this knife to use to slice meat for making jerky. It does an excellent job. The quality of the knife and its balance are outstanding.

This knife is sharp and well made, what else is there to say? Reasonably priced (although the price went down 2 days after I bought it at 3 dollars more), this knife will satisfy your slicing needs. I got this as my teppanyaki knife, and it comfortable and reliable. I might buy another one for my knife holder!
