Excellent Value
I own a set of these, and I've been very pleased with how they've performed. I've had the knives for a few years with no problems. They match my more expensive cooking knives (forged blade, black composite riveted handle) and they've managed to hold their edge quite well. Poor Quality
We had a set of Chicago Cutlery knives for many years and thought they were good quality. Over time, the wooden handles dried out and the blades didn't sharpen very well. So we replaced them with this set, but were very disappointed. The blades rust after very brief exposure to water. We are still using the old ones.

They match my more expensive cooking knives (forged blade, black composite riveted handle) and they've managed to hold their edge quite well. I treat them like my better knives though, which means no dishwasher and an occasional run on the steel. I really enjoy having a non-serrated edge that cuts well, and doesn't tear at the meat. The handle is slightly undersized and I wish they came in a set of 6, but considering the price, this is an excellent set of knives.
