5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent knives
I received my set of Chicago Cutlery Steak Set as a back up for my main set of Chicago Cutlery. These knives are one of the best knive s that I have ever used. They fit the hand perfectly and are very sharp, they come in a nice storage box so I can keep them in the drawer without getting them banged up. I look forward to using them for a long time in the future.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not serrated edges.
The knives were purchased to match a previous set of the same. I had 9, and I wanted 9 more. My previous set had serrated edges. This set had straight edges. They work fine, but were not what I expected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great knives, truely, September 20, 2007
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Landmark 9-Piece Steak Knife Set (Kitchen)
These knives really are great. The fit so well in everyone's hands and they cut really well. They also look great with silverware and make a table setting very clean and classy. I am very happy with these knives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Steak Knife Set, January 11, 2007
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Landmark 9-Piece Steak Knife Set (Kitchen)
I have been very pleased with all the Chicago Cutlery items I have purchased, and this steak knife set is no different. A slightly smaller scale, they are a good weight and cut meat cleanly.

Awkward handles and lightweight feel. Bought as a gift and had to be returned. Chicago Cutlery has better lines.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rusted after one washing, October 6, 2007
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Landmark 9-Piece Steak Knife Set (Kitchen)
After they were washed once they were put in the dish rack on top of one another. After about 6 hours I went to put them away and there was rust on the all handles. The blades did not show signs of rusting.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed - RUST problem, November 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Landmark 9-Piece Steak Knife Set (Kitchen)
Contrary to what another reviewer experienced, a few of the knives we bought had RUST on the "blade" (not the handles) after being washed TWICE. Also, they are relatively lighter than the set my mother-in-law has from ages ago. I love her set, it's just too bad that the ones we bought weren't of the same quality :-(

3.0 out of 5 stars They're okay, September 4, 2007

I was disappointed when I got them because I wanted serrated knifes and didn't look close enough before I bought them. To me, a "steak knife" needs to tear through steak. I guess if I take the time to sharpen them often, they'll last me until I decide to buy a different set.
