5.0 out of 5 stars Chicago Cutlery Rocks, December 25, 2008
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Walnut Tradition 3-Inch Paring/Boning Knife (Kitchen)
I have been using this paring knife for over 50 years. My mom and dad had one, and I now have one. Chicago cutlery is the best value in knives. This paring knife is perfectly balanced and just the right shape and length. I would never use any other paring knife. I bought a high end paring knife, and it broke with in a year. Could have bought 10 of these for the same price.

This is a very nice knife. It is comfortable to use and the wood is beautiful. Just be sure to hand wash to keep the wood in good shape.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sharp, January 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Walnut Tradition 3-Inch Paring/Boning Knife (Kitchen)
Well, it is Chicago Cutlery, so sharp is what you get!! I love the traditional edges on these and have never been a fan of serrated edges except for my steak knives. Due to the natural wood, you need to keep the handles oiled or they will dry out. They hold an edge very well, but keep your rattail handy for when it burrs down. Overall, very happy with this product.
