5.0 out of 5 stars Knives, December 28, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Walnut Tradition 5-Inch Boning/Utility Knife (Kitchen)
Bought three and this particular knife is my all rounder, Chicago cutlery lasts twice as long, easily than other brands, stays sharper longer and replaces my last decade of Chicago knives.
It's hard to go wrong with the price and quality product.

Update:09/27/11

OOPS. What happened? The original set came in a blue package, the two this time came in green and although the blade was the same, I don't like the new handle feel too much. I have bought several of these and this time I'm slightly disappointed in the feel and grip of the handle. When something simply works, don't change it.

Cheers

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Knife, March 12, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chicago Cutlery Walnut Tradition 5-Inch Boning/Utility Knife (Kitchen)
This knife is very "hand friendly" - balanced well and has a good cutting edge. Holds its edge about as well as any I've had. Found it very useful. Amazon has it priced quite inexpensively.

This size knife is the best I have used to cut meat off the bones and this knife stays sharp enough for the work I have done with it.
