First thing first, this is a cutting board and not a chopping block as the add states. The packaging on this product clearly states this. I bought it intending to only use it as a cutting board so I am not disappointed. The last review was about this being a poor chopping block so I wanted to make sure this discrepancy was clear.

This board looks very nice, does not dull my knives and seems to be a great value for this thick of a bamboo cutting board. I use it for prep work in the kitchen, no meats.

Buying tip, some people are disappointed with the size of cutting boards once they get them so I recommend measuring out the dimensions of this board before purchase as well as looking into the type of maintenance it requires (cleaning, oils etc.)

This is a good solid cutting board at a great value in my honest opinion. :)

I used this once as a chopping block and it splintered terribly. I used a cleaver to cut through bone. Big, fat splinters came off the chopping block into my food. I'm sure this works fine as a cutting board, but as a chopping block this product is a complete waste of money. I'll be throwing this away and replacing it with something else.
