4.0 out of 5 stars I have bought several, mostly happy, some small issues
I have mostly appreciated these socks. The price is reasonable, they are soft and comfortable, and they are supportive without making your legs feel squeezed. They do get a bit warm and sweaty sometimes. The top band is mostly very good - not too tight, not too loose. The socks stay up very well - they never turn slack even after many washings. However, the top band...

2.0 out of 5 stars compression socks
These are so hot I can hardly stand to wear them. Also when I DO wear them I come home with swelling above the top of the socks. Just no good for being on your feet all day. I do think they are softer, so I see where they could be better for diabetics---in the winter!

However, the top band has a tiny elastic edge that can leave a red line across your skin after many hours. This tiny elastic edge is not uncomfortable nor does it affect circulation. To avoid developing the red line, I either fold the top edge down or occasionally I wear the socks inside out. For me a pair lasts about a year and then wears out at the heel (I land on my heels pretty hard). I am buying more of these because overall they are very good to have in your pressure-sock collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jobst SensiFoot Support Crew Socks, September 6, 2008

These are the most comfortable socks I have even put on my sore, tired feet! They make a huge difference in the way my feet feel during the day, and when I take them off at night. I highly recommend them.

These socks are soft, with good support, but they are a little on the warm side.

For diabetics with sensetive feet, these socks are awesome. There is no comparison between traditional socks and the new socks. I even bought some for my mom and she is out walking around telling me she feels great.

I would and will purchase this product again.

With a Great THANK YOU!

Scott

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect for diabetics, May 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought these for my mother who has had massive foot trouble over the years from diabetes, surgery, you name it. I bought these for her for mother's day and she said they are the best gift she could have gotten, they fit perfect, have good support and feel great. I am glad to find a product that will give her at least a little relief.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, but problem with sizing chart, July 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These are great socks, but the sizing chart provided on Amazon does not match the
sizing chart on the product. They will be bigger than you expect.
We ordered 'Medium' because that's what the Amazon chart specified, but they were considerably larger than what one would want for a good fit. When they came in, she neglected to try them on before removing the tags and washing them. After putting them on, she found that they bunched up at the toe when worn for a heel fit, and the heel pad was up the achilles when worn for a good fit at the toe. The bunching is not good for a diabetic with neuropathies in the extremities.
Fortunately, they did fit me quite well. I am ordering another set for her one size smaller, and will report in once delivered.
(PS, This time I will try them on before removing the tags.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Leg saving!, December 23, 2010

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I'm seven months pregnant. And I woke up 12 lbs heavier one morning than the night before. All water. All in my feet and ankles. And so random. I don't use salt! I drink gallons of water a day! I'm eating properly! It was like a bad dream where I could not recognize my own lower legs. Support stockings? Well I tried that. Under socks. Might work maybe if I didn't live in Chicago where the current temp is 22 degrees AND if my daily routine didn't include walking a year old border collie pup for miles in our fresh 4 inches of snow. Full stockings took forever to peel and roll off to pee plus who wants to feel like a full body version of sausage? The knee ones really were hard to put on (I also have SI pain) and you try talking your big manly husband through helping with that! I tried another brand of support socks but really, they were thin, itchy and more like the stockings.

Not these. These are wonderful socks! Fast shipping (arrived next day without paying extra). They feel like warm, soft, plush, cushy sport socks. No one at physical therapy (for the SI pain) knows they are support socks. I bought a few more pairs and wear them daily. It has helped amazingly. In two days of daily wearing and walking I lost the 12 lbs of water weight so it no longer feels like I'm trudging around with heavy ankle weights. At night (if I don't put the socks on in the evening after my bath) I can get slight swelling, but it is gone by morning and has not popped up again. These really saved my legs and my activity level because I'm not the kinda person who can *do* bedrest without going stir-crazy. Give them a try. I wish had these years ago when I would work 12-18 hours on my feet bartending!

5.0 out of 5 stars great for people who stand for long periods of time, November 11, 2010

I bought a couple pairs for work (I'm a nurse and work 12 hr shifts) about 6 months ago and they are great! I just got on here to buy a few more pairs. Not too tight (they don't dig into your leg at the top), but perfectly tight enough. They actually stay up, instead of sliding down your leg, like other brands I have tried in the past. Also- they are super soft. And thick -which is great if you wear hard sole clogs (like Dansko) like I do. They look like they'd make you hot, but I haven't found that to be the case. Compression socks are a must-have when you're standing for 12 hrs straight - they make your legs feel muuuuch better. Love em!
