What a great buy. This is very well made, sturdy and looks nice, too. The lifetime warranty is a real plus. Works like a charm, now I can make meatloaf and it doesn't swim in grease while it's baking. I've used it to make small lasagnas too, just perfect for two people with leftovers. Washes great in dishwasher. Loved it so much I came back and ordered one for my sister, too. Highly recommend this Meatloaf pan!

I first used this pan last night. With two pounds of pork and beef, you can have a lot of fat sitting at the bottom of your meatloaf. This pan holds all of the fat in the container below the main pan. Voila, no fat around the meatloaf as usual, making it a much more healthy entree.
The pan heated uniformly and washed very easily. I am very pleased with it.

Excellent, the fat drips to bottom and wonderful for cutting meatloaf slices right in pan! Clean up is a snap, also fits few stuffed peppers conveniently. Already have pans for such things, thought this is a waste of money, but I have been using this pan over and over, forget about old-faithfuls, tehe. This product is a great buy and works pretty well. It wish it had more holes in the bottom to drain off fat. A large meat loaf can cover the holes blocking the draining. It cleans up nicely.

This pan works quite well and cleans up easy. I agree with a previous reviewer that a recipe consisting of two pounds of ground beef and pork can yield a fair
amount of fat that has a tendency to clog the perforations in the insert. Perhaps larger holes might help drain away the residual fat. One method
that does help reduce the fat is to use a leaner (90%) ground beef.

Ingredients
Spicy Ketchup Sauce:
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sriracha hot chili sauce

Meatloaf:
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
4 cloves garlic, grated (on a rasp)
8 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves stripped and chopped
1/2 cup chopped Vidalia onion
1 scallion, minced
1 pound ground chuck, divided
1 pound ground dark meat turkey, divided
2 slices potato bread, lightly toasted and cut into 1/4-inch cubes, divided

Special equipment: 9 by 5-inch loaf pan
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

For the spicy ketchup sauce: Add the ketchup, vinegar and hot chili sauce to a bowl and stir. Reserve 1/2 cup for the meatloaf.

For the meatloaf: In a large bowl, whisk together the Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, thyme, onions, scallions and reserved spicy ketchup sauce. Crumble half the chuck into the bowl, followed by some bread, then half the turkey pile on some more bread cubes. Repeat with the other half of meat and remaining bread. (So a half pound of crumbled chuck, some bread, then a half pound of ground turkey, some bread and repeat until done.
