I was looking for a cookie sheet that wasn't too big, and this one stepped up to the job nicely. It is thick and solid -- not flimsy like some baking sheets can be. It has not warped even after being submitted to repeated dishwasher-ings...I've found that I actually use this sheet more for defrosting meats than baking even. I plop frozen chicken breasts, scallops, sausages, etc. on there and set it on a rack. (The rack allows for air flow under the sheet.)

Perhaps it is because of the thickness of this sheet; the aluminum conducts room or fridge temperature really well, and cuts defrosting time greatly. (Haven't measured enough to put a percentage, but that requires math -- yikes!) The only thing to be careful about is that there is no "lip" on the edges of the pan, so juices will run off if you're not careful!

In a word, fabulous! So glad I made this purchase.

I bought 2 of these sheets for use in my new convection microwave oven. They are just the right size to fit and give the space needed around them.
The most impressive things about these are their weight and quality. They are made of a heavy metal and have a very nice smooth light finish. They will last the 25 yrs. they are guaranteed for at least.

Great cookie sheet-what more can a person say? Nice lite weight and good size. Glad I bought.

These pans are exactly what I hoped they would be. I wanted solid, compact, NO non-stick baking sheets. I live in an apartment with a tight kitchen and a small dishwasher. The pan-size isn't the most practical for turning out batches of cookies but it is necessary for easy storage in my ridiculously narrow and short cupboards. I use the pans for making a quick batch of oven fries or dinner rolls. The pans also fit upright in my dishwasher like a plate.

I have become a huge fan of Chicago Metallic. This pan is the one I use for baking bread and is my favorite and most-used of the bunch.

Bought these on the recomendation of Cook's Illustrated. They have not warped and work better than my cheap big-box ones. I do use parchment paper on these so not sure how much that contributes.

I did have to have my husband cut them down to fit my oven. My oven is a bit smaller than standard because it has a tiny second oven on the side and is sized so it is counter-depth. Since these cookies sheets are solid, that was not problem.

Bought two of these cookie sheets because I have a smaller oven and the standard larger size sheets don't allow adequate airflow. These work very well for small apartment sized ovens. Very even heat distribution and cookies and any baking comes out very even. They can bend if you lean on them a bit, but are easy to bend back. Clean up is a breeze. What more could I ask for in a baking sheet. Nothing fancy, just does the job and does it well every time. I wouldn't go near any of the non-stick junk and with a little care these should last a lifetime.

I wanted to replace my old, well used, discolored aluminum cookie sheet with something heavier and less prone to buring the bottoms of cookies. The Chicago Metallic cookie sheet wasn't the best choice. When I removed the bent cookie sheet from the UNdamaged shipping carton... then easily bent it back into shape with my hands... I knew this one would require some gentle handling. Folks, it just feels a little too wobbly when putting it in and taking it out of the oven while loaded down with a pie or a full batch of cookies. It bakes as well as my old cookie sheet, just not as sturdy. Maybe it's the economy (as good an excuse as any, eh?).
