This is by far the best cooling rack that I have yet to find on the market. It's large size reduces the need to use multiple smaller racks that clutter countertops while baking and cupboards when in storage. The grid design prevents cookies and petit fours from "sinking" between the otherwise single-direction bars found on other standard racks and eliminates the chances for dropping a cookie through two bars. The grid also makes it easy to slide baked goods off the rack onto plates.

Its great to have a big rack to fit lots of cookies. It also has the added advantage of small mesh so things do'nt fall through.

Excellent item. Large and sturdy - doesn't bend under the weight no matter how much I put on it. I wanted a rack big enough to handle my giant cookies. This does it. The vent holes are small so I don't have to worry about hot, soft cookies bending or breaking. No rust yet. I highly recommend this product.

Not too much you can say about a cooling rack, except for that it works. It is large enough to fit almost 2 dozen cookies on, and it doesn't tip over like my mom's used to. I throw it in my dishwasher and it comes out clean and hasn't warped or anything. It is pretty sturdy too, and won't bend with weight, as I have set a large pot on it. I would reccommend it.

This grid, placed over a sheet pan, is perfect for draining/cooling fried foods,cookies, etc. -- watch Alton Brown to see what I mean. I had been using cookie cooling racks with straight rows of wire, but would often have things slip through the rack or droop down beween the wires, these racks have crisscrossed wires like a crossword puzzle and hold everything in place. I've even used it to support a roast in a 350 degree oven with good results.

No more waiting, and waiting for cakes to cool to frost them. Ordered two racks. Cools cakes and cookies super fast. Plenty of room and easy to clean. The grids are spaced close enough together so cookies do not fall through. You won't be disappointed.

i love these racks! as someone who is not a fan of non-stick products, I am so happy these racks exist. so many cooling racks are non-stick. non-stick is not even healthy, but back to the product. these are well made, do the job, and clean up nicely. i am a frequent baker and they certainly come in handy. all of my bakeware is chicago metallic and i am very happy with their products.

great cooling rack for cookies or anything else. I just ordered another one and some more Chicago Metallic pans because they are great products.

Picture is deceptive...read the dimensions.

It's ALMOST square looking (not picture but for actual).

I know of no pans that this size would fit into.
There could be...I'm not a cook.

It's a good thing a ordered a second rack at the same time from
CIA...It fits perfectly into the Chicago Metallic Pans.

These are well built and solid. Unfortunately, they do not fit the Chicago Mettalic half sheet pans. They are about 1/2 inch too wide. They still work fine but that caused me to give one less star. You would think that Chicago Metallic would make these to fit the sheet pans.
