Pros: These have made several loaves of bread, and I'm happy with the results. The food browned nicely, cooked evenly, and stack for storage.

Cons: The non-stick coating seems to be rather delicate. I wouldn't recommend using any metal utensils on these - not even a butter knife around the pan to loosen the loaf. I'm even storing them using the cardboard dividers they came with. Also, the sharp corners make for lovely bread loaves, but are not easy to clean. I have to use a toothpick to get out all of the food in the tight corners.

The non stick coating is pretty delicate and I'll probably store them with the cardboard inserts they originally came with.
The folded corners make lovely, perfectly shaped loaves, but food gets stuck in the crease at the corners and I have to use a toothpick to get it out.
Water also gets inside the fold a slowly comes out once the pans are flipped right side up, meaning I'll put them in the oven after each cleaning to make sure they're completely dry.

I love these pans. I was given tons of zucchinis last summer and was having trouble figuring out what to do with them. A friend suggested that I freeze the batter in small amounts. This works out great. My daughter love being able to get the batter out and make 2 mini loaves all on her own. They are fresh and the no stick serface allows the loaves to come out unscathed and looking great. The only thing negative I would have to say about these pans is the design. On the inside of them at each corner is the seam where the metal was folded. Food bakes into these cracks and makes it a little bit of a challenge to clean them out. I don't wash non stick items in the dishwasher so scrubbing these by hand is a little harder. But I found if you soak them immediately after you take the bread out in hot soapy wate, the food tends to come right out. I also use a toothbrush (one only used for dishes obviously) to scrub in those cracks and that has made getting the food out a lot more easy. All in all, I would definitely recommend these pans. The little loaves make a great little basket stuffer for gift baskets and such.

They are okay but after washing they hold water in the folds of the metal. So when you think they are dry, they still have water that oozes out, which if you don't see it will cause a rust problem.

These mini loaf pans with the newer coating produce nice. I have had excellent results with batter quick breads and yeast doughs.

However, the pit fall these pans have is the folds where both dough and batter get stuck and cleaning them is a chore.

You have to get these pans dry as well as any remaining moisture can be the start of rust.

I found the finish on these pans somewhat delicate.

To keep any baked goods from sticking either using cooking spray oil or butter and flour works but does not keep the cracks clean.

I have now switched to the USA Pan brand of individual mini loaf pans and report they are wonderful.

Although the USA mini loaf pans are twice the price as the Chicago Metallic, they produce a better result and are easy to clean.

I have 32 of these. It is true that crumbs get wedge into the seam, but my hot sprayer cleans these guys up in a hurry. I like their sturdiness, even baking and easy release with a little pan spray.
