Product Description

Chicago Metallic and DUNCAN HINES Test Kitchens have developed a line of bakeware to match the quality of Duncan Hines mixes, to deliver a fool-proof experience for any home baker. The gauge of the metal of each pan is selected specifically for the baking task. Pan measurements are true-to-size and the pan dimensions are embossed on the pan for easy reference. The clear non-stick finish eliminates the need to adjust for time or temperature, unlike darker non-stick pans. The non-stick coating will not stick, even on the first bake and it is dishwasher safe.

3.0 out of 5 stars Rusts fast, January 29, 2007
This review is from: Chicago Metallic Duncan Hines Toaster Oven Pan (Kitchen)
The no-stick coating is indeed very sturdy and this would be an excellent accessory for the toaster oven -- except... It rusts like crazy, after only a few uses too. I've tried this pan twice. I did put the first pan in the dishwasher, but when it started rusting after just 2-3 uses, I made sure that the second pan never went through the dishwasher. Yet the second pan started rusting almost as fast. After just one year the first one is pretty much rusted all over...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality - I'm buying another!, May 12, 2007

I'm ordering a second one. This is just the perfect size to cook six of those pre-made frozen chocolate chip cookies on. While it isn't as big as you'd think, neither is my toaster oven. (not reviewing my oven here, but it is a LOT smaller than you'd think and I need the special pans for it).

I read reviews on other toaster oven pan brands before buying this, and I'm glad I did. I have had NO trouble with this (Some folks did with their OTHER, unnamed-here brand). The rim is tightly rolled, no rusting in the dishwasher, and it has stayed solid and unwarped (three months of regular use). I do NOT use SOS/steel wool, and use teflon-type utensils. (which I do with my airbake and wilton pans as well). Looks like new.

5.0 out of 5 stars Heavily used and not a single problem, April 12, 2008

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chicago Metallic Duncan Hines Toaster Oven Pan (Kitchen)
I rarely fire up my full sized oven but I use my toaster oven daily. This pan replaced a "NordicWare" non-stick pan that was complete junk.

I don't treat this Duncan Hines pan particularly well. It gets banged around in the sink with metal utensils and such, soaks for a day or gets wet and air dries, etc. And despite this, the pan is holding up fine. The nonstick surface still performs great and there is no hint of any rust like one reviewer had. I've been using this pan for just over a year, and I'm very pleased with it.
