I purchased a set of these over ten years ago and use them often. When we have guests, I simply bake as many as I need ahead of time. When dinner time rolls around, I place them on plates, set out dishes of ingredients, and let everyone fill theirs the way they want. Now I am buying sets as gifts for others because of the rave reviews I received. A wonderful gift for anyone. If you do not like tacos, try filling them with some of your other favorite ingredients. Lemon pie, chocolate, etc.

Used these for the first time last night. The bowls turned out even better than I had hoped.
Perfect size for burrito size tortillas with enough room to spare where you could use the super size wraps.
I used multi-grain flour tortillas and olive oil spray. I think "Taco Salad" night will replace Pizza night.

This is a great set of Tostada Salad Shell / Taco Salad Bowl Pans.
I used burritos size flour tortillas
I brushed both side lightly with oil and baked
They tasted Wonderful!

This is a great way to make a taco salad. They are great even cold. I had a party for 24 and made them ahead of time. They were still crisp and everyone loved making their salads from the taco bar that included two types of meats, two types of beans, two types of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, olives, jalapenos, etc.

We really love the tortilla bowl set. They are top quality and heavy metal. I thought they were going to be smaller, but they are large. The pans hold the large torilla shells and make a nice bowl.

I would recommend these pans.

Purchased 3 more sets of the large tortilla/taco shell pans for my kids. I fell in love with mine. Easy to use and better than deep frying. The large ones are perfect with flour tortillas.

Clean up is a breeze with these pans. Finally, taco salad without having to have fried shells. The tortillas bake quickly in these pans.

The product is a good one to have, makes great taco salad shells, although the tast of a baked shell does take some getting use to. This product is good for large tarts.

I've had a set of these for about 14 years now and they still look like new. They make crispy shells and are easy to clean. They can go in the dishwasher but they're so easy to clean by hand (tortilla shells don't make much of a mess) I usually just wash them that way.

Since I bought them my wife and I had kids so I had to buy more pans...they love when we have taco salads in baked shells. The pans are inexpensive and don't take up much space so I figured I'd add a couple of pans and increase my taco shell production capacity.

These pans are highly recommended if you want a lighter taco salad shell. Of course your salad won't be light if you fill the shell with sour cream, cheese, and greasy meat, but at least you've got a start with the shell.

One last note - the pans I have from 14 years ago were made in the USA. I know this because I saved the part of the box that had cooking instructions on it...also on that part of the box is "Made in the USA". The pans sold today are made in China. They're nearly identical to my older pans - hopefully they'll hold up as well as my other two.

This item works great! You should note, however, that if you're using smaller (taco size) tortillas this mold will be too large.
