I bought two of these, and I use them for making hamburger buns. They're perfect for the task. They make buns a little bigger than the grocery store size, which I find to be positive. When my friends are cooking out, they ask me to bring the buns. I can't post a recipe link here, but I did post a couple of pictures of buns made with these pans in the product images. Try searching for "emory cottage hamburger buns" for the recipe. (Beware! When people find out you can do this, you'll get requests.)

One reviewer mentioned being hesitant about putting these in the dishwasher. That's how I clean mine, and I've had no problems.

Edit: Sadly, the customer images are gone. There are pictures on the recipe page if you search for it.

I make my own version of Egg McMuffins and freeze them. I bake the eggs in this pan, 6 at a time. They are the perfect size to fill an English muffin all the way to the edges. I crack a large egg into each circle of the pan, break the yolk with the end of a spatula or knife so it flattens and spreads a bit, and bake at 350 degrees until they're set (25-30 minutes). Perfect. You can find my complete recipe at TheYummyLife.com.

You don't know how many people have asked me how to make these muffin tops! The pans are wonderful, I spray them with a cooking spray, use a boxed muffin mix, reduce the temperature 75 degrees from what the box says to use for muffins, cook for about 12 minutes, and they are perfect! I use a silicone spatula to remove them from the pan, I don't want to ruin these precious things.

My friends have ordered them too, they also think they are a great buy. One of my friends even says she puts hers in the dishwasher although I haven't tried that yet.

I LOVE THEM! I think a couple of these and a couple of mixes would be a great gift idea also!

I'm on a diet where I can't eat carbs - this is perfect for making hamburger buns with almond flour and a few other things. They come out exactly right every time.

A new trend in my kitchen begins. Used these for the first time without greasing them. Nothing stuck to the pan. The regular size muffin recipe that I followed called for the muffins to be baked in a 400 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes. When I used my new muffin pans, I set the oven temperature to 325 degrees and baked for 15 minutes. They came out perfectly with the recipe that I used. Now, I'll try many more recipes with these pans.

I purchased two of these as I make my own bread products for my particular diet,
I wanted something shallow so I wouldn't have to slice something out of a deeper
pan...THIS filled the bill. I still sprayed this (with the flour/oil spray for
baking) as I have heard these pans do better with a little help from a spray oil
of some kind. I was very pleased for the use I needed them for...as far as using
them for muffin top baking I would think they would work great as they ARE shallow
and you would have more 'crusty' areas...but I doubt that I will ever actually use
them for muffin making. I think you could make all kinds of cool things out of
this pan...maybe even your own hamburger buns? Use your oven the efficient way
and get TWO of these pans and place them side by side on your rack, get more bang
for your "power bill buck" that way.

Every Sunday I would make eggs benedict for breakfast... two eggs at a time.
This meant a few things. First, I would have to serve as I made the eggs or the first person's eggs would be cold. Second, being the cook, I would eat last.
It was be a lonely breakfast.
Then I saw someone on Pinterest to use this pan to make eggs for homemade egg sandwiches, and then I thought, I can use this to make 6 eggs at one for eggs benedict, enough for everyone to eat together. YAY!!!
So I did a trial with this pan making the eggs. I sprayed each muffin top section with butter spray, then I put a tablespoon of water with an egg and some salt and pepper and cooked at 325*F for 6 minutes with a bread pan with water in the oven too.
I will just say, YUM-MY!
The eggs benedict came out wonderful!
My next recipe will be pumpkin chocolate chip muffin tops. :)

I have never made muffin tops but instead use this for gluten free hamburger buns. I bought a second one so I can make the whole recipe all at once.
